Bio

Lisa Perrine Brown

Lisa graduated with an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 3D with a focus in fiber arts and sustainable design. Lisa lives in Traverse City.  

Lisa Perrine Brown is a product designer, illustrator, lecturer, and fine artist with a wide array of experiences. She has taught at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, College for Creative Studies in Detroit, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and Raffles Design International in Mumbai, India. As a designer she has 15 years experience with Ford Motor Company, Graves Design, Fisher-Price and Hasbro.

In addition Lisa is an avid traveler. Lisa has lived as an expat in India for three years and studied weaving at Konstfack in Stockholm, Sweden. She is the owner of a mini-travel company www.intentional-tourist.com. She recently came back from a three month self guided tour through India.
